Apple has refreshed their newest iPod line and as usual it's excited the masses. The newest Shuffle, Nano, and Touch come with new features and new prices which shouldn't disappoint Apple fans. This Shuffle is the most feature-loaded Shuffle brought to us so far from Apple and we couldn't be more excited. The new Shuffle also allows the sync up of multiple playlists and the newest version of iTunes. Clipping to you wherever you clip it, the Shuffle comes in 2GB and five colors. At one time the Shuffle featured only a scroll wheel on the front and Apple has brought this design back. Another added feature includes a Voice Over button that states song title, playlist, artist, and battery status in 25 different languages. The Shuffle is now selling for $59.
The Nano has undergone the largest facelift of the new iPod lineup. Choose from the 8GB or the 16GB for $159 and $189 respectively and in seven different colors. The Nano has also been on a diet while it's now 46% smaller and weights 42% less than its predecessor. What sets it apart from the Nanos in the past is the Multi-Touch display. "Everything you want to hear is just a tap or a swipe away," explains Apple. With 240 x 240 pixel resolution and a 1.5-inch color display, one would think size would be an issue. On the contrary, the display is amazingly clear. Added perk, the new Nano offers FM radio so you can also listen to your favorite radio station when you're out on the streets.
The new Touch offers three sizes including an 8G model for $249, a 32GB for $319 and a 64 GB model for $429. Most exciting are the additional front and rear facing cameras. The new Touch is quite a bit smaller and thinner than the last. The front facing camera displays an HD video and stills similar to the iPhone and retinal display brings a 960 x 640 resolution. FaceTime, Apple's video chat software has been an excited addition to the Touch and sets the iPod apart from all that has come in the past. Touch and iPhone 4 users are now able to chat through a Wi-Fi connection and it's really easy to use. The Touch can really be compared to an iPhone without the phone.
Unlike the Apple iPhone, the new iPods have a feature that takes them to 80% charge in under two hours. The new iPods are available and ready to impress, don' for get Apple new Apple TV player.
